Institute of Sustainable Development for Farmers

(Sustainable Farming through Knowledge and Innovation)

One of the greatest challenges that Indian Agriculture Sector is facing at present is the limited access to the variety of improved technology (cultivation practice, post-harvest management, live stock rearing practice and such others) by small & marginal farmers (those constitutes more than 85 per cent of total holdings). As a result, they could not sustain their livelihood and push them into vicious circle of poverty in the era of rapid changes such as climate change, social structure change, and industrial changes.

ISDFF envisages a world where farmers have access to best technology, knowledge, and livelihood options to fulfil/achieve their potential with social inclusion.
visr
ISDFF’s mission is to enhance the knowledge of farmers, improve their access to best farming management practices, nutritional food security, health, hygiene and biosecurity, and upliftment of economically weaker section in urban areas.
